What does this entail?
ADGM Administration is a collective insolvency process designed to rescue a company as a going concern, achieve better outcomes for creditors than liquidation, or realise assets for secured and preferential creditors. Administrators may be appointed by the court, the company, its directors or qualifying floating charge holders, depending on the circumstances.
Upon appointment, a statutory moratorium applies, and the administrator assumes control of the company’s affairs and assets. The administrator must perform his functions in the interests of the creditors as a whole, with structured reporting and transparency expectations.

When is it appropriate
Administration is appropriate where a coordinated restructuring or managed realisation is required and where creditor enforcement needs to be "paused" to protect value. It is often used for complex stakeholder environments, viable-business rescues, or scenarios where a controlled process can produce a better outcome than liquidation.
